The first five people to leave a comment on this post will get something from me.But in return, you have to do the same thing on your blog and make something for five other people. The details are as follows, and if you want to play, copy the following onto your blog and leave me a post:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make. Whatcha get is whatcha get.
2. What I create will be just for you, with love.
3. It’ll be done this year (2010).
4. I will not give you any clue what it’s going to be. It will be something made in the real world and not something cyber. It may be weird or beautiful. Or it may be monstrous and annoying. Heck, I might bake something for you and mail it to you. Who knows?
5. I reserve the right to do something strange.
6. In return, all you need to do is post this text on your blog and make 5 things for the first 5 to respond to your blog post.
7. Send your mailing address – after I contact you.I can't wait to get started!

Sweet Baby Girl Birthdays
My sweet sweet baby turned 1 just over a month ago. We had a lovely party for her were she was absolutely queen for the day. She played with her cousin and charmed the socks off all her guests. I crafted a wonderful party all around the Sprinkles My Acrylix Stamp set from Close to My Heart. I hand stamped the invitations, and party hats. I added cupcake cut-outs to our light fixture over the table and we made the day special with pretty pink roses. It was absolutely a day to remember!

Sheep Shearing
Yesterday we took a trip to Stanley Branch Farm, Home of the Unplanned Peacock!
It was sheep shearing day and we had a great time enjoying the weather, company and lovable sheep.
It was Pippers and my first experiance with live sheep. (Of Course, I had seen them at the Bluebird Gap Farm in Hampton when I was little.) SBF has some real Beauties. I had quite the compulsion to knit and learn to spin after seeing the beautiful fleeces. I couldnt help but feel sorry for the little ones though, it is cooling off rather quickly this October and I know it must be chilly when you loose your coat!
GW Came to the farm too. I couldnt help but admire him playing with Pippers and enjoying a sunny knoll out in the pasture. What a rugged man! Too bad I didnt bring a camera.

New Kid on the Blog
My unoriginal title says it all! I am new to blogging and I am so frazzled that I started one blog and FORGOT all the information to log on to it!!! Now it is forever lost in cyberspace.
My plan is to blog and save all my memories from child raising, crafting, marriage and life in this small space.
The goal is to make is "Faster, Simpler, Easier" Just like Close To My Heart scrapbooking.
This weekend I visited with family and friends and saw all the wonderful new Close to my Heart products. I LOVE IT ALL!
I took JEH - ( My Little Girl) to visit her Grandparents and we took some fabulous pictures in a little pair of overalls that my mother had been holding on to since I was a little girl. They pictures were wonderful and very fun. JEH is so photogenic. I just love it!
We enjoyed one of the last warm afternoons this summer by swimming and playing in the pool. The next morning you could almost taste the impending change of seasons. It was cooler and almost crisp while I was packing up the car to head back to Southwest Virginia.
On the way back home we stopped and visited with Jennifer and met some delightful people from her church. I have to say, I have never felt more comfortable in someones home or more welcome as I did visiting Jennifer. JEH loved it too. She looked at all the scrapbook products that Jennifer had displayed, climbed the stairs and cruised behind the sofa looking for baby treasure (Any small object or Dust Bunny that parents would not want a baby to have)
We arrived back home to see my grinning husband and much to the delight of JEH he was there as soon as she was out of her car seat. JEH went back to sleep after having an oatmeal and apple butter snack and husband and I were able to chat about all the excitement our weekends held for us.
Now that I am back in my Office I cant seem to stop thinking about all the great projects and memories that Lay in store for the FALL!
